There are many ways to volunteer at David Lubin and joining the PTG Board is an important one. The PTG Board approves budget and program requests, manages school wide enrichment initiatives & events and helps foster communication between teachers, staff and our school community. President
Are you social, welcoming and the type of person who likes to get things done?
• Leads Monthly PTG Meetings
• Main Communicator between Principal, Staff and PTG Community
• Has a voting voice for all proposals and budget requests brought to the Board
• 10-15 Hours per month
Vice President

Treasurer
Do you have a background in accounting or finance? Are you impeccable with your number tracking skills?
• Receive & deposit money. Record all expenditures and receipts
• File all Tax & Corporation forms
• Has a voting voice for all proposals and budget requests brought to the Board
• 10-15 Hours per month
Secretary
Put your excellent note-taking to the test!
• Record and distribute minutes from all meetings
• Has a voting voice for all proposals and budget requests brought to the Board
• 6-8 Hours per month
Communications
Do you have a background in design or marketing? This could be a fun outlet for you!
• Design and send weekly newsletter, maintain website design
• Posts for social media
• Has a voting voice for all proposals and budget requests brought to the Board
• 10-15 Hours per month
Parlimentarian
Order in the court!
• Responsible for maintaining order and timeliness in monthly PTG meetings
• Has a voting voice for all proposals and budget requests brought to the Board
• 6-8 Hours per month
DEIB Lead
Are you a champion for equity initiatives? Do you want to help shape and improve David Lubin’s DEI strategies?
• Lead for at least 1 DEIB related initiative
• Has a voting voice for all proposals and budget requests brought to the Board
• 6-8 Hours per month
Member at Large
Do you enjoy leadership and decision making? Do you want to bring new ideas and fresh perspectives to the PTG?
• Task oriented with creative ideas
• Lead for at least 1 enrichment initiative

Teacher Lead
It’s the Parent TEACHER Group and we couldn’t do it without you!
